Unbiased Puffy Mattress Review

The Puffy Mattress has been designed and developed by the company Puffy that has been formed recently with the simple idea of providing a mattress to the people that is universally comfortable and gives a feeling like you are sleeping on a bed of clouds.

After 4 years of research, foam formulations, development, sleep trials, and countless hours of perfecting the foam layers, the Puffy mattress was crafted and developed to ensure a sleep surface that will be perfect for a deep, restorative sleep.

The Puffy mattress is one of the latest products in the mattress market and the company believes that they have crafted the perfect sleep system that will provide a comfortable sleep to sleepers of all ages, sizes, and sleeping habits.

The company has used the highest quality foams layers in developing the mattress with environment friendly manufacturing processes and practices.

The mattress has been uniquely designed using the latest technology to provide a body adapting cloud formula, cloud cooling surface, and a pressure relieving firm support.

The Puffy Bed In A Box

It has been designed to provide its sleepers utmost comfort, great support, good bounce, and a cool sleeping surface.

This cloud foam mattress is hand crafted and manufactured in the US and is prepared on order.

Puffy Mattress Firmness Level

The Puffy mattress has been developed to provide a level of comfort which is ideal for almost all types of sleepers and focuses on the requirements of the majority of sleepers.

The Puffy mattress is presented in a medium level of firmness and finds a good balance between pressure relief and support.

This level of firmness is enjoyed by a large amount of sleepers, almost 75% as they prefer a medium level of firmness.

This mattress comes with a comfort level which is ideal for all types of sleepers including side, back, and stomach sleepers.

The mattress provides a soft comfort that is preferred by side sleepers, hug and contour for proper spinal alignment that is preferred by back sleepers, and firm support which is ideal for stomach sleepers.

This mattress is also optimal for couples and sleeping partners that have different sleeping postures and styles as it is quite easy to switch between different sleep positions.

How Many Layers Does it Have?

The Puffy bed is designed to offer a great level of comfort that envelopes your body and adapts to your body shape, in order to provide a sleep to the full potential.

It is a 10 inch thick bed that comprises of 3 layers of foam, which are discussed below:

  • The Top Layer: It utilizes a unique “Cooling Cloud Foam” that helps to draw heat away from the body. This proprietary foam layer uses conduction as well as convection to allow free flow of air, thus offering a cooler sleep surface. In addition to this, it is made up of gel suffused visco polyurethane foam that helps to increase the flow of air 8 times more than the regular foam beds. This 2 inch layer is crafted with the company’s VPF (Variable Pressure Foaming) technology, which implies that the foams are designed in an environmental friendly manner. Furthermore, the foams are crafted in a closer chamber that alleviates process emissions, thus cutting out on noxious chemicals. Additionally, the layer provides support by adjusting according to your body shape and offering appropriate contour that relieves pressure points that a traditional bed places on your joints, shoulders, hips, and knees.
  • The Middle Layer: This is a 2 inch layer of advanced humidity and temperature-resistant materials, which is known as “Climate Comfort Foam”. It is a proprietary foam that acts as a transition layer between the top comfort layer and the dense foundation layer. Furthermore, it helps to mitigate climate fluctuations so that you can enjoy a restful night of sleep.
  • The Base Layer: This is 6″ of foundation layer that offers a special level of firmness for appropriate spinal alignment. This layer uses a unique Insta-Firm Technology that delivers 99% more responsiveness as well as 4 times better level of support as compared to regular foam beds. Furthermore, it helps in balancing weight of the sleeper according to their size and offers improved blood circulation, pressure relief, and alleviated tossing and turning. Thus, the layer acts as an ideal foundation to the Puffy bed by providing overall comfort, support, durability, and shape to the mattress.

How is Motion Transfer and Sinkage?

The Puffy mattress performs really well when it comes to the motion isolation and sinkage tests.

The mattress provides one of the best weight distribution systems on the market and uses uniquely designed foams that are crafted using the latest technology.

The layers of this mattress work very well together and provide an excellent level of contour and resilience which help in absorbing motion and restricting it to a particular area.

This means that if you have a sleeping partner that tosses and turns all night or moves in and out of the bed regularly, then you have to be rest assured as the regular movements will not disturb or disrupt your sleep.

The layers also provide solid support and bounce which help restricting the body from sinking in too much. You will not feel the lighter partner rolling towards the heavier partner on this mattress.

The mattress also has a stable edge support and provides a larger sleeping surface by providing edge to edge accessible surface.

Does the Puffy Mattress Sleep Hot?

The Puffy Mattress has been designed and developed to provide a cool sleeping surface to its sleepers for a comfortable and a restful sleep.

The puffy mattress in a nice hotel roomThe top layer of the mattress is a gel infused foam layer that is designed to restrict any hot spots on the mattress that you may have to experience.

The gel absorbs heat from the body and helps in dissipating it.

This layer is also breathable which allows airflow to keep the surface cool.

The bottom layer provides a solid support and does not let you sink into the mattress, keeping you closer to the surface which prevents any heat build up around the body.

The cover of the mattress is also thin and breathable which helps in regular airflow and keeps the body closer to the gel infused foam layer.

The mattress presents a great heat dispersion system and presents an optimal temperature for comfort.

On the Puffy mattress, you do not have to worry about sweating or sleeping hot, as this top rated mattress is designed to provide a comfortable and cool sleeping surface throughout the night.

Do Puffy Mattresses Smell?

The Puffy Mattress, just like the other bed in a box mattresses does have a slight ‘new mattress’ smell initially when it is unwrapped from the packaging.

Although the smell stays for some time but it is not a cause of concern as this is common amongst compressed mattresses and the smell dissipates almost completely in about a couple of days.

CertiPUR-US logoThe company uses high quality foams that are CertiPUR-US certified which ensures that the construction process does not involve any ozone depleters, flame retardants, mercury, lead, formaldehyde, phthalates, or other heavy metals.

The company uses specialized variable pressure manufacturing process that eliminates the use of harmful chemicals and provides foams that exceed the required standards set by CertiPUR-US for durability, emissions, and foam content.

The company also tries to use environmental-friendly products wherever possible, in the construction and manufacturing process of the mattress.

The Puffy mattress is made to order to ensure that it is delivered as fresh as possible to your doorstep.

Does it Require a Foundation?

The Puffy Mattress does not require a specific or special type of foundation as it is designed to work with any frame or foundation.

The mattress can be placed on any surface including a flat frame, boxspring, or a slatted frame, however, make sure that the slats are not more than 4 inches apart.

The only thing to consider before placing the mattress is to check whether the base is flat and even or not, as the mattress will not provide proper comfort on an uneven base.

The foams used in the Puffy mattress are flexible and the mattress works well on an adjustable frame as well.

In case you do not have a foundation and do not wish to buy a new one as well, then you can also place the mattress directly on the floor and the mattress will work absolutely fine.

Just make sure that the area is not prone to moisture as this may harm the cover and the foam layers of the mattress.

Puffy Foundation

If you are in doubt, the easiest is to purchase the Puffy foundation together with the mattress, so you won’t risk any warranty issues, size will be perfect and you’ll have a perfectly matching style.

Puffy Adjustable Base

Puffy now offers a premium adjustable base which is the perfect companion to this mattress.

To learn more about adjustable bases, have a look at our dedicated article.

Puffy Mattress Cover

The cover of the Puffy mattress has been uniquely designed and crafted using high quality materials to work well together with the foam layers and provide a comfortable sleeping experience.

the mattress coverThe mattress has a soft and plush, stretch-knit cover that is stretchy and stays tight over the mattress.

The cover has tiny pores and is designed to be thin.

This helps in providing breathability and a cool sleeping surface as well as helps in wicking away heat and moisture.

The top of the cover is white in color and has a textured finish with small clouds placed distantly all over that make it appealing and attractive.

The side panels of the cover are made out of high quality durable fabric and are dark grey in color.

The Puffy logo is placed near the footing of the mattress, right in the center.

The cover has a zipper, that means it is removable and can be washed as well.

What is the Best Way to Care for the Puffy Mattress?

The Puffy mattress is very easy to maintain and care for if used with proper instructions.

The mattress has a removable and washable cover that can be hand washed as well as machine washed.

However, it is not recommended to wash the cover often as this may harm the fabric.

In case of small stains, the spot cleaning method is recommended.

A sponge should be dipped into a mixture of water and a mild detergent, and should be rubbed in circular motion over the stain until it clears away.

You must also make sure that no harmful or harsh detergents are used.

The area should be dried off immediately with a hand dryer as this will prevent any damage to the foam layers.

The mattress should not be flipped as the comfort layer has been placed on the top side but it should be rotated from head to toe after every 6 to 7 months as this will provide an even wear and prevent the mattress from bottoming out.

It is also recommended to vacuum the mattress using a hand vacuum after every 3 to 4 months to avoid any dust and dirt from settling in.

Will it Last Long?

The Puffy mattress has been crafted using superior quality, uniquely designed foam layers that work well together to provide a long lasting durability.

The mattress is completely manufactured in the USA which ensures that the best quality products and foams are used in the construction of this mattress.

The base core layer of the mattress provides overall support to the mattress and protects it from bottoming out.

This foam based layer not only provides strength but also overall durability to the mattress.

The latest technology integrated into the specially designed foam layers of this mattress helps it to last for a much longer time than the standard foam mattresses.

Although the company provides a lifetime warranty with the mattress, it is expected to last and work well for about 13 to 15 years. The life of the mattress may increase if it is taken proper care of.

Size and Shipping

The Puffy mattress is available in six different sizes that are same as the standard US mattress dimensions.

the shipping box of puffy mattressThe size of the mattress can be selected according to the needs and requirements of the customer.

The company uses the latest technology to compress all the sizes of the mattress including the Cal King into a single sized box which is 19″ x 19″ x 42″ in size.

The box is white in color and has the Puffy logo printed over it.

The box also looks simple yet appealing, and the size makes it easy to maneuver and manage.

The company provides free shipping via FED-EX to the contiguous 48 States and charges $150 for shipping to Hawaii and Alaska.

It also provides free shipping to most of the states in Canada.

Since the mattress is made to order, therefore it will take about 2 to 3 days to prepare the order.

The mattress is shipped in about 3 to 6 business days.

It is also very easy to set up the mattress once you receive it, all you need to do is unbox the mattress, put it over a foundation, and cut open the packing.

The mattress will start to decompress itself and will automatically take its proper shape in a few hours.

Can I Try the Puffy Mattress? Is There a Comfort Guarantee?

Puffy offers a 101 night risk-free trial with its mattress, which means that you can return the mattress within the first 101 nights from the date of delivery if you are not convinced with its quality or comfort.

It is recommended to use the mattress for at least 3 to 4 of weeks before making a decision as it takes time for the human body to adapt and adjust to a new comfort level.

If for some reason, however, you are not satisfied with the mattress, then all you need to do is contact the company within the specified time period and they will schedule a free pickup for the mattress.

Once the mattress is picked up, the company will donate it to a local charity and refund you all your money.

There will be no hidden, shipping, or transportation costs charged or deducted from your refund.

The donation policy of the company ensures that your foam mattress will not end up in a junkyard, and will be given to those who are in real need of it.

If you stay in Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada and decide to return the mattress under the 101-Night Trial Policy, then the company will not be able to refund you the shipping charges paid for the original delivery of the mattress.

Puffy’s 101-Night Trial Policy is valid for only the original purchasers who have purchased directly from their website.

How is Puffy’s Warranty?

Puffy is highly confident about their sleep system and states that it will be the best foam mattress that you have ever tried, and therefore backs up the mattress with one of the best warranties offered in the mattress industry.

the mattress nakedThe company offers a limited lifetime warranty with the mattress which means that the company has you covered for as long as you own the mattress.

The limited warranty covers all the manufacturing defects faced throughout the life of the mattress.

If any defects are faced in the workmanship or materials during the first ten years from the date of purchase then the company will replace the mattress with a brand new Puffy mattress free of cost.

If any defects are faced after the first ten years then the company will either repair or replace your mattress at its discretion.

They will also charge a $50 shipping cost each way which will be waived off if it is confirmed that a manufacturer’s defect is present.

At your discretion, the company also offers a unique “Quick Sleep” option as a part of your lifetime warranty.

After the completion of the first ten years, you can opt to choose this option, where rather than repairing or replacing your mattress, the company will provide you with a new mattress at half of the original price you paid to buy the mattress.

You get to keep the old mattress as well.

The warranty covers any visible indentations that are greater than 1.5 inches as well as the manufacturing flaws in the zipper of the cover.

This is valid only for the original purchaser of the mattress and does not transfer if the mattress is sold further.

What is the Puffy Mattress’ Pricing?

The Puffy mattress is constructed using the best quality materials and foams but is still available at a very reasonable price.

To reduce the mattress’ cost and make it more affordable, the company has skipped out on middlemen and cut out on pointless commissions.

I have owned foam mattresses in the past. They have required the use of a waterproof mattress pad or else the warranty is void. Does Puffy require the use of a waterproof mattress pad? Also, what situations would void the warranty? Thank you.

I have a Puffy and when I contacted them about a mattress protector they said it was up to me if I want to use one or not.

Did you end up finding a good protector for it?

Both my sister and I have a Puffy Mattress. I decided not to put a protector on mine and it has been wonderful. My sister put a waterproof one on hers but I have not head any complaints.

Could I please ask you a question sinc eyiu said you and your sister both have a Puffy? Am thinking if getting it in the full size. So you ans your sister find the Puffy is firm enough, and did you both find that it sinks in, in the middle ? Thank you so much! Hesitating because I have never had a foam mattress before. Adrienne in NY

Stacey Morgan – STAFF

Hi Melanie,

according to our information, a waterproof protector is not a requirement. You can read about it on Puffy’s website directly.

Randee from Oxford, WI

Still enjoying our Puffy and promoting it to others. 🙂

We have also spoken about this mattress to our friends and bought the Lux edition for our daughter and son in law who recently got married. They tell us they love it very much.

Same here, so far my sister bought one after me and last week my boyfriend got his. I should get free pillows or something since I got them two customers lol.

I think it is a one of a kind mattress.

Same here. I’ve liked it since the day it came to my door.

Could you say if you are back, side, or stomach sleepers?

I sleep on my side and my husband is a stomach sleeper. So far it works perfect for both sides, at least for us.

Sarah from Manhattan, NY

Side sleeper here. I sleep like a lamb.

I’m a side sleeper, and at times on my back.

My husband sleeps on his back and I tend to sleep on my left side most of the time. It works great for the both of us. I really do feel the support on my side.

Wife and I are on the same boat. It helped with my lower back issues also.

My matress is a year old and it sucks! They dont stand behind it and ask you to send pics to comfirm its defective. I have a soft spot where i sleep every night, when i move to the center, i end up rolling back tot the soft spot. They say a 3/4″ piece of plywood for my base is the cause of my problem….What if i had a box spring under it? How about the box spring they sell? Firm plywood will cause a soft spot? Theyve insulted me with that statement! Furthermore they tell me to put it on the floor, which is constructed of 3/4″ PLYWOOD! Nice solution to the problem huh? So what do i do with my bed frame and headboard? Throw it out because this piece of junk is suppose to be on the floor??? Funny how every comment on this board is positive twords their product..Lets see how long MY HONEST OPINION of this product lasts after i submit! DONT BUY ONE!!!!!

I bought A Mattress and it was so firm that it only sank when I sat on it but when I laid and evenly dispersed my weight there was no give. I’m a 130 pounds and I felt like I needed to be 200 pounds in order for this bed to absorb my weight. I tried to return it and was told that I personally needed to donate the mattress and send the receipt in. I live in California you’re not allowed to donate beds. I ended up calling 3 times after several E mails being ignored to be told that they have a pick up service! I ended up having to make a Better Business Bureau complaint because of the unclear return process. The mattress was hard and I had a most difficult time getting information on how to return the product I would not buy this products and I returned it after 54 days.

Stacey Morgan – STAFF

Hi Larry,

sorry about that. What is that plywood lying on? Is it really impossible that the plywood (and whatever is underneath it) is bending under your weight? Seriously, have you tried putting the mattress on the floor? That’s a very useful test in this kind of situations.

If you can determine the mattress is really defective, than nothing stops you from making a warranty claim. Please keep us posted!

It is a nice mattress but we may have to return ours but will at least give it 14 days. It’s comfortable but for my wife it sleeps really hot and she keeps waking up hot. For me I have noticed a bit of heat increase but not enough to bother me but I can see why it is a problem for her. Has anyone else been bothered by it sleeping hot?

I agree with the couple of people that have Not like this mattress and had to return it. There were so many great comments about this mattress and I too got taken in by It being described as sleeping on a cloud. I remember when I first opened it up and put it on my bed I couldn’t believe how much I sunk into it and it felt like a workout just getting off of the mattress. I didn’t like that I there is no firm support around the edges. If you sit on the edge of the bed you’ll just fall off of it. I like to lean up against my headboard and read and with the puffy mattress I cannot do this as I sink a great deal. I agree with the one gentleman that said it was like sleeping on cement. I wake up with pain in my left hip. This pain began a few days after sleeping on the mattress. I tried to give it the 30 day break in. But I am still waking up in pain and have that pain for hours after waking up. I did not spend $1,300 on a mattress to wake up in pain and have that pain for hours. my daughter was in a children’s hospital and I spent the overnight sleeping on a specialized chair that pulls out to a bed. I thought I would wake up with hip pain from sleeping on that. I was surprised to wake up in the morning with no hip pain at all! I think the puffy mattress is just way too soft for me and I need something firmer. I couldn’t believe that I had no hip pain sleeping on a chair bed in the hospital but woke up with hip pain from my $1,300 mattress.

Our Puffy Mattress has been the best thing we have bought in a long time. It really does feel like a cloud. My husband who used to wake up at 6am actually sleeps in longer now and wake up less grumpy.

We have both the regular Puffy for our daughter and the Lux Puffy for our main bedroom. Both are amazing, hubby is really liking the the Lux in our bedroom. He complains a lot less about his back and that’s is almost a miracle for me.

Anyone know what mattress protector works best with the Puffy mattress? Mattress is stunning so i don’t want to get it ruined by any means.

Stacey Morgan – STAFF

Hi Rachel,

any protector will do as long as it’s of the right size!

Sarah from Manhattan, NY

I have finally come to the conclusion that this mattress is a special one. Since I’ve traveled and stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world, I have never felt how I feel on my mattress. It really is an amazing piece furniture.

I wish I can take it on my business trips. There is nothing like getting good sleep.

Really liking my mattress but I want 4 of those Puffy pillows now. Was hoping for a discount of some sort.

Oh my friend you won’t get that – a discount that is. I already approached the company about it when they offered me $250.00 for another mattress. Well I don’t need another mattress so I suggested they apply it toward two pillows and I would be happy to purchase two more pillows. Ohhhhhh no. This was for a new mattress only at the god awful price they charge for foam. So don’t expect any perks from this company. Once I have my renovations completed and put the bed back together and sleep on what I have purchased, AND if I am satisfied I am done with this company.

I didn’t know they have pillow?

Really enjoying this mattress. What makes it so great is that my body feels like its floating but my back is supported just how it needs to be. I have never felt such a way on any other mattress.

How heavy is the mattress? I am 79 years old and am getting weaker with age. I can no longer lift the corners of my current mattress to tuck in the sheets. So is the puffy light or flexible enough to tuck in the sheets?

Our king size Puffy was about 65-70 pounds. I figured out a easy way to get it on the bed for our second mattress. While it was compressed…I put it on our box spring then I cut the seal so it would expand. I think this was easier then the first time I did it when I cut the seal while it was on the floor, then had to pick up and place it on the bed.

Once the mattress is in place, it is very easy to lift a corner. The weight is distributed throughout the mattress once it has been placed on your frame and left to expand. That being said, you will want someone to help you set it up when it first arrives as it is 70 lbs, in the box, before it is installed. I love this mattress!! I bought it for our other 2 bedrooms and our guests love sleeping on it, as well.

You do not want to go with a light weight mattress. Ours caved in little by litte, I am kinda glad it did because we ended up with this puffy instead.

Stacey Morgan – STAFF

Hi Claire,

the Queen weighs about 70 lbs. Unfortunately these mattresses are all a bit heavy.

I tend to sleep perfectly on my side without waking up at night. I’m 58 years of age and wake up feeling very rested with no joint pain. I couldn’t say the same for my old spring mattress that would give me headaches in the mornings.

We are very happy with the quality of our king size mattress. Shoutout to the customer service team, I had to deal with a lost package, they quickly resolved my issue. Thanks!

We bought both the Puffy Lux mattress and Puffy Foundation. The mattress feels incredible, even my husband loves to sleep on it, he says he has never looked forward to sleeping on a mattress before. In my opinion the reason this mattress has been great for us is because it is soft yet it doesn’t suck us in like other foam mattresses and has very good support for the entire body. The foundation noise free and strong, it gives us plenty of storage space underneath. The foundation packaging included a mattress grip so our mattress stays put and doesn’t move all over the place. Overall we are happy Puffy owners.

1. This mattress is extremely soft. I will take some of the blame of needing to return this mattress, because I did my research and knew the softness ratings. Sleeping on a cloud just sold me and sounded so good (I thought). Still, the bed was much softer than anticipated and started causing me (140 lbs) back pain after a couple weeks. My husband (190 lbs), who suffers with chronic back pain, felt like he really sank WAY too much and didn’t feel any support, like he was in a constant struggle to stay on (not in) the mattress. He found that his back pain worsened with the softer mattress. After getting a better experience from Amerisleeps AS2 medium-firm mattress, I think I should have just choose the firmer option to begin with. We have both been much more comfortable (even with me being a side sleeper) in the firmer mattress. After further research, many sources say medium-firm is best for back pain. The cloud description of the mattress is correct.. only this bed is so soft, it is hard to move. I really think this is probably a better mattress for young (under 27) backs that don’t get sore. I used to be able to sleep on super soft mattresses..

2. This mattress sleeps VERY VERY hot! I would even say the claims of their cooling tech seem a bit misleading. Our old mattress and the one we just bought (after returning puffy) are both foam, but do much better at cooling. I would get up, go to the bathroom in the night….. and come to find the place I was laying to be very hot still (not warm, hot)… I couldn’t escape it.

3. Support and the return process was so smooth. I feel really guilty for returning (especially since they don’t re-suse the mattresses), but was too expensive to not be the right thing. Mostly, soft just sounded so good…. but this was much softer than my back can handle.

4. I recommend this for anyone who likes a VERY soft mattress and can keep the house around 65 or cooler at night. But this just isn’t supportive if that is something you need. I found this to sweat me out at 68 F nighttime house temp in mid summer.

I bought three of these mattresses several months ago. I have loved my queen Puffy since the day it arrived. Once you set it up and it expands, which only took a couple of hours (or less), it is ready to go. The first night I slept on it, it did feel like a cloud. My husband agrees. The bed is easy to make and is holding up well. The other 2 mattresses are in guest rooms. Our guests have all commented on the wonderful comfort and no one, including my husband and I, has ever been warm or hot while sleeping on the Puffy mattresses. I highly recommend these. I have never had a more comfortable sleep–even with very expensive mattresses in the past.

We have had both the models for 2 months and I couldn’t agree more.

I have a cal king frame with a adjustable base. Is it possible to get a split cal king? Side by side.

Stacey Morgan – STAFF

Hi Bud,

currently Puffy doesn’t make split California King.

I bought the Puffy foundation and it did nothing but make

noise. Most of the holes for the bolts didn’t even want to

line up. It says on their website easily put together in 5

minutes. That’s impossible. It took a me and a friend over

40 minutes. A very dissatisfied customer.

Stacey Morgan – STAFF

Hi George,

the noise is most probably related to the problems you faced during the assembly. It’s quite unusual to hear about that.

So, we ordered our puffy mattress about 1 1/2 months ago. I felt it was very firm until it “puffed” up a bit. After about 3 days it was better but more on the firm side. We gave it some time and added a mattress pad to soften it but it wasnt for us. I would say its not bad its just personal preference I feel. We started the return process and so far it hasnt been a hassle at all. They got back to us quickly and detailed info on the return. I feel this is a good value still and it does have a worry free return process so far. We havent finalized it yet and got our refund but I feel they will follow through.

We’ve had our Puffy since March 8th. My fiance has no complaints but my back has been hurting for the last few days when I get up in the morning. And sometimes I wake up because my back hurts. Don’t know what to do.

Return it. I felt like it was a brick. Its not for light weight people. Make sure you dont get the run around on the return process

I’ve spent two full nights on it. I woke up less sore but still sore. And last night I felt a lot of heat right underneath me. I do have a few sheets over it. Wondering if that is causing the heat? I also got an email stating this: The ideal temperature to get the best results from the Body Adapting Cloud Formula is 68-80 degrees. Anything cooler than 68 degrees might cause Puffy to feel a bit firm and anything above 80 degrees might cause Puffy to feel soft.

So this means in the winter I would have to keep my temp at 68 at least to feel real comfort? Are all memory foams like this?

Hi Ros,

from our information, that’s the perfect sweet spot. If you stay around it, you shouldn’t fell much of a difference. Of course if your temperature usually goes a lot higher or lower, then you might feel it.

In our experience, most foam mattresses might get a bit harder with the cold (like 55F), but we never heard specific complaints.

How do I get the $200 discount on a full size Puffy mattress?

Stacey Morgan – STAFF

The discount is already applied on the Puffy website. Just add the mattress to the cart and you’ll see it there.

I definitely plan on buying a Puffy mattress! My husband has bad back pain and I’m anxious to see if this new mattress helps!

I recommend it for back pain. It wasn’t until we changed mattresses and bought the Puffy that my back started to feel better. 5 months and no complaints.

You should definitely give it a try, it changed the way I look at mattresses.

I hope it helps for him because it definitely helped with my back pain. Mine was a lower back issue for many years and after I started sleeping on my new Puffy mattress I started to notice it was slowly going away, I think thi is because of the back support it gives. I rarely feel any pain anymore, I can live like this no problem.

We bought our queen size Puffy in August 2017. First three days, not great. Then we decided to knead it by crawling on it. After that it improved greatly! Our suggestion is to not sleep on it for the first couple of nights. Let it fully expand. Then knead it. We LOVE our Puffy mattress and look forward to going to bed at night. It has just the right amount of softness and support.

The only thing that could use improving would be side barriers so we wouldn’t feel we’re like falling off the edge. Other than that…the perfect bed!

What did the manufacturer say about kneading? We are on the trial period with our Puffy. I sleep on my side. I have two artificial hips and fibromyalgia , last night was horrible. I hurt everywhere today. I feel like I slept on cement. One good thing, it was not hot. Any helpful suggestions?

Hi Jensen,

seen your condition, I’d strongly suggest to consider a specialized mattress like the Natural Form.
